Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Janus, after whom the month of January is named, is the Roman god of doorways and new beginnings. He is usually represented with two heads, one looking back to the past, the other looking forward to the future.
~p.p. 28 ‘A Christmas Celebration’ by Celia McInnes
It may seem a bit weird that I am reading a Christmas book in January, but I started it in December and am only now getting round to finishing it. Besides, these two sentences are more about January than Christmas anyway! The whole book is packed full of interesting facts as well as examples and tutorials, so if you’re as much of a Christmas fan as I am then you might want to check it out.
