Taking a break

These past few months I have let this blog barely plodding along with few reviews and constantly forgetting to post. So I have decided to take a break for a few weeks and come back in the new year and try again.

I could make lots of goals for this blog for next year, but honestly I doubt I’d be able to keep many of them and in the process lose momentum. So I’m just going to say I love reading and reviewing books, and I love being part of the online book community, and so I intend to keep blogging as well as I can. If you have any ideas how I can improve this blog, things you’d like to see more or less of, please comment below.

Happy Holidays to everyone celebrating and ‘see’ you next year!

Teaser Tuesday (9th Dec)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

I’d had to come clean, though, when he handed me a sheet with that day’s phone messages on it. In all honesty, I was a little upset to discover that so many of my namesakes were so cynical.

My Teaser:

Colin had a way of looking at a person, his green eyes so focused and intent that you felt as if you must be the only two people in the universe. Unfortunately for Penelope, it also seemed to have a way of reducing her to a stammering imbecile.
